The South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff (ORS) is offering to provide free internet hotspots to households based on eligibility requirements. Eligibility is based on financial need and is only for families that do not currently have internet access. At present, funding for free internet service has been provided for August-December 2020. If you currently have internet access please do not apply. Please only apply for one household, not each student. The deadline to apply is Friday, July, 31st. If your family meets the qualifications set by the State of South Carolina for this program, you will be contacted by District 6 about the next steps.
